The 2006 girls swimming and diving team had the best record of any girls swimming and diving team in school history. The team finished with a 14-1 season record and placed first in conference and at sectionals.

The Warriors won eight of the 12 events at the sectional to capture their second straight championship. The team won all three relays, including the 200 medley relay team of Ellie Eshleman '07, Emily Wike '07, Hannah Moore '08, and Emily Fassler '07; the 200 free relay team consisting of Ann Wolber '09, Fassler, Moore, and Allison Yemm '10; and the 400 free relay team of Allison Carbaugh '09, Eshleman, Moore, and Wolber. In individual events, Eshleman captured the 200M IM and 100 backstroke, Wolber won the 100 and 200 free events, and Wike won the 100 breaststroke.

This team is also the only girls team to qualify three events for the second day of competition at the IHSA State Finals, where the 200 medley relay team placed 9th, becoming the first relay team to medal at state in a relay event. Eshleman finished 11th in the 100 backstroke, and Wike finished 10th in the 100 breaststroke. Many records were set during the season that still stand today: 200 medley relay team (Eshleman, Wike, Moore, and Fassler)-1:49.99; 200 free relay (Wolber, Fassler, Moore, and Yemm)-1:41.58; Eshleman in the 100 backstroke-59.12, and Wike in the 100 breaststroke-1:05.99.
