The 1984 football team, also known as the Blue Crew II, not only distinguished themselves by finishing the regular season undefeated, an accomplishment by only five previous football teams, but finished their four year career with only one regular season loss, leaving them with the most wins ever in SHS history. The team was characterized by a traditionally hard-nosed defense and a wide open offense, which deviated from previous Warrior teams. The team's overall season record was 9-1 for the regular season and 5-0 in Conference.

The captains were Mike Murray '85 and Jody Wilson '85. Jeff Luptak '85 received the Guts Award and the Hustle Award went to Brad Barron '85. Most Improved was given to Ken Burkett '85 and the Most Valuable Player was Hector Rodriguez '85. The Taulii Memorial Award was awarded to Shannon Johnson '85.
